전라남도청소년수련원, 지역사회 공헌활동 ‘청소년 사랑이’ 운영

전라남도청소년수련원(원장 이춘복)은 지역 아동청소년 지원을 위한 공헌활동 ‘청소년 사랑이’를 운영한다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 전남 도내 아동청소년 사회복지법인 2곳(해남 등대원, 목포 성덕원)을 대상으로 10월 18일과 11월 8일 두 차례 진행될 예정이다.

이번 프로그램은 아동청소년의 건강한 신체 성장과 정서적 안정을 돕기 위해 기획됐다. 전라남도청소년수련원 청소년 지도사들이 직접 기관을 방문해 병뚜껑 업사이클링, 슈링클스 등 다양한 체험 활동을 제공하며, 참여 아동청소년들과 소통하는 시간을 갖는다. 모든 프로그램은 전액 무료로 운영된다.

이춘복 원장은 “아동청소년들과 직접 눈을 맞추고 진심을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 지역 아동청소년들이 따뜻한 관심 속에서 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 전라남도청소년수련원은 푸른 난대 숲과 국내 최대 동백 숲, 땅끝 다도해가 어우러진 자연 속에 위치하며, 여성 가족부 전국 청소년수련시설 종합평가에서 2014년부터 6회 연속 최우수 등급을 받아 도 대표 청소년수련시설로 인정받고 있다.

Jeonnam Youth Training Center Launches Community Service Program “Youth Love”
The Jeonnam Youth Training Center (Director Lee Chun-bok) announced on October 14 that it will operate a community service program, “Youth Love,” aimed at supporting local children and adolescents.
The program will be held twice, on October 18 and November 8, targeting two child and youth social welfare organizations in Jeonnam (Haenam Lighthouse Center and Mokpo Seongdeok Center).
Designed to promote healthy physical growth and emotional well-being, the program will be led by youth counselors from the Jeonnam Youth Training Center, who will visit the organizations in person. Participants will engage in a variety of hands-on activities, including bottle cap upcycling and Shrinkles crafts, while also having opportunities to interact with the counselors. All activities are offered free of charge.
Director Lee Chun-bok said, “This will be a meaningful time to make eye contact and share genuine moments with children and adolescents. We will continue to provide ongoing support so that local youth can grow up in a warm and caring environment.”
The Jeonnam Youth Training Center is located amid pristine subtropical forests, the country’s largest camellia forest, and the scenic land’s end archipelago. It has been recognized as a leading youth facility in the province, receiving the highest rating six consecutive times in the biennial National Youth Training Center Comprehensive Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family since 2014.
