전남도, 지역사회서비스 투자사업 활성화 ‘현장과 머리 맞대’

전라남도는 10일 도청 정약용실에서 전남지역사회서비스 제공기관 협의회 대표단과 간담회를 열고 지역사회서비스 투자사업의 활성화 방안을 논의했다.

이날 간담회에는 협의회 대표단 10명과 김영록 전라남도지사가 참석해 서비스 제공 과정에서의 애로사항을 듣고 내년도 통합돌봄 참여 방안 등을 폭넓게 논의했다.

이 자리에서 박경래 전남지역사회서비스 제공기관 협의회장은 “도에서 지역사회서비스 발전을 위해 지속적인 관심을 기울여 주고 있어 감사하다”며 “협의회가 현장과 행정을 연결하는 소통 창구 역할을 충실히 해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

김영록 지사는 “지역사회서비스 투자 사업은 아동, 청소년, 어르신, 장애인 등 다양한 계층에게 맞춤형 서비스를 제공해 삶의 질을 높이고, 동시에 지역 일자리를 만드는 중요한 사업”이라며 “현장의 목소리를 정책 설계와 집행에 적극 반영하겠다.”고 강조했다.

전남도의 지역사회서비스 투자 사업은 지역 주민의 요구에 따라 연간 27종의 사회서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 매년 2만여 명이 서비스를 이용하고 있다. 또한 서비스 제공기관 종사자 등 1천300여 명의 고용을 창출해 지역 일자리 안정에도 기여하고 있다.

전남도는 앞으로도 협의회와의 긴밀한 소통을 바탕으로 지역 특성에 맞는 신규 서비스 발굴, 서비스 품질 향상, 지속 가능한 운영 기반 강화를 추진해 나갈 계획이다.

한편, 전남지역사회서비스 제공기관 협의회는 2023년 설립 이후 제공기관 간 네트워크 구축, 서비스 품질 제고, 지역사회서비스 인식 확산 등 현장 중심의 협력체계를 강화해 오고 있다.

Jeonnam Strengthens Community-Based Service Investment through On-Site Dialogue
Provincial Government Holds Consultation Meeting with Service Providers… Discusses Needs and 2026 Integrated Care Linkage
The Jeollanam-do Provincial Government held a consultation meeting on the 10th at the Jeong Yak-yong Conference Room in the Provincial Office with representatives of the Jeonnam Community Service Provider Council to discuss strategies for revitalizing the Community-Based Service Investment Project.
The meeting brought together ten council representatives and Governor Kim Young-rok, who listened to difficulties experienced in service delivery and exchanged wide-ranging views on linking the program with next year’s integrated community care initiatives.
Park Gyeong-rae, Chair of the Jeonnam Community Service Provider Council, expressed appreciation, saying, “We are grateful for the province’s continued interest and support for the advancement of community services,” and added, “The council will continue to serve as a strong communication bridge between the field and the administration.”
Governor Kim emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “The Community-Based Service Investment Project provides customized services to various groups including children, youth, seniors and persons with disabilities, improving their quality of life while also generating local employment. The insights shared today will be actively reflected in future policies.”
The Jeonnam Community-Based Service Investment Project currently provides 27 types of customized social services each year according to local needs, serving around 20,000 residents annually. It also creates employment for approximately 1,300 workers, contributing to regional job stability.
The provincial government plans to continue close communication with the service provider council to develop services tailored to regional characteristics, enhance overall service quality, and establish a stable and sustainable operating system.
Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Community Service Provider Council, established in 2023, has been working to strengthen networks among service providers, improve service quality, and expand public awareness of community-based services.
