전남도, ‘정착이 곧 경쟁력’… 투자기업 임직원에 문화·역사 체험 지원 강화

전라남도가 투자기업 임직원의 지역 정착을 기업 경쟁력의 핵심 요소로 규정하고, 전남 문화·역사를 직접 체험하는 ‘2025 투자유치 협약기업 문화체험 프로그램’을 운영하며 기업 지원 정책의 새로운 방향을 제시했다.

전남도는 지난 12일까지 이틀간 한화오션에코텍㈜ 임직원 16명을 대상으로 전남 문화와 자연, 산업역사 체험을 연계한 현장 프로그램을 진행했다.

한화오션에코텍은 2024년 전남도와 약 3,000억 원 규모의 투자협약을 체결한 기업으로, 이번 프로그램은 임직원의 지역 이해도를 높이고 조직 내 소통과 화합을 유도하기 위한 맞춤형 프로그램이다.

■ 여수→보성→순천… 전남의 자연·역사·산업 한 자리에서 체험
임직원들은 여수 갯벌노을마을에서 채소 뽑기 체험을 하며 농촌의 생태·정서적 가치를 체감했고, 이어 ‘낭만낭도 섬 둘레 길’을 걸으며 남해안 해양경관의 매력을 만끽했다.

보성 봇재 역사문화관에서는 전남의 근현대 산업 변천을, 순천 드라마촬영장과 순천왜성에서는 지역 문화유산과 역사적 현장을 직접 둘러보며 전남의 뿌리와 미래 가능성을 함께 살펴보는 시간이 마련됐다.

■ “전남과 함께 성장하는 기업 될 것”… 임직원 간 소통도 강화
행사에 참여한 한화오션에코텍 관계자는 “전남의 다양한 매력을 가까이에서 느끼며 직원 간 소통과 이해가 더 깊어졌다”며 “앞으로도 전남과 함께 성장하며 활기 넘치는 기업 문화를 만들겠다.”고 소감을 전했다.

■ 전남도 “정착 지원은 투자유치의 마지막 퍼즐… 맞춤형 지원 계속될 것”
양경옥 전남도 투자유치과장은 “기업 임직원들이 잠시라도 재충전하고 지역과 가까워지는 계기가 되었길 바란다.”며 “기업이 전남에서 안정적으로 정착하고 성장하도록 향후에도 현장 중심·맞춤형 지원 프로그램을 지속 추진하겠다.”고 강조했다.

전남도는 투자기업의 부지 조성·인허가 등 행정 지원을 넘어, 임직원의 지역 적응과 생활기반 안착까지 지원 범위를 확대함으로써 기업 정착을 돕고 투자유치 실효성을 높인다는 방침이다.

Jeonnam Province Strengthens Cultural and Historical Programs to Help Investment Firms Settle in the Region
Jeollanam-do has defined employee settlement as a core factor in corporate competitiveness and is presenting a new direction for corporate support by operating the “2025 Cultural Experience Program for Investment Agreement Companies,” which offers direct exposure to the culture and history of the province.
The two-day program, held until the 12th, invited 16 employees of Hanwha Ocean Eco-Tech Co., Ltd., a company that signed a 300-billion-won investment agreement with the province in 2024. The program was designed to deepen employees’ understanding of Jeonnam, encourage communication within the organization, and strengthen team cohesion through cultural, natural, and industrial heritage experiences.
■ From Yeosu to Boseong and Suncheon… Experiencing Jeonnam’s Nature, History, and Industry in One Journey
Participants visited Yeosu’s Gaetbeol Sunset Village, where they took part in a vegetable-picking activity and experienced the ecological and emotional value of rural life. They then walked along the Nangman Nangdo Island Trail, taking in the scenic beauty of the southern coast.
At the Botjae History and Culture Center in Boseong, they explored Jeonnam’s industrial history from the modern era, while visits to the Suncheon Drama Film Set and Suncheon Waeseong offered opportunities to reflect on the region’s cultural heritage, historical significance, and future potential.
■ “We Will Grow Together With Jeonnam”… Strengthening Communication Among Employees
A representative from Hanwha Ocean Eco-Tech stated,
“Experiencing the diverse charms of Jeonnam firsthand has strengthened communication and understanding among our employees,” adding,
“We will continue to grow with Jeonnam and build a vibrant, positive corporate culture.”

Yang Gyeong-ok, Director of the Jeonnam Provincial Investment Promotion Division, said,
“We hope this program served as a moment of refreshment and helped employees feel closer to the region,”
emphasizing,
“Jeonnam Province will continue to provide on-site, customized support programs to help companies settle and grow stably in the region.”
Jeonnam Province plans to expand its support beyond administrative assistance such as site development and permits, extending it to improving employees’ adaptation and quality of life—ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of corporate investment and supporting long-term regional settlement.
