전라남도는 추석 연휴(10월 3~9일) 동안 도민과 귀성객들이 안전하고 편안한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 11개 대책반(일 48명)을 구성해 ‘추석 명절 종합상황실’을 운영한다.

도는 재난상황실과 119종합상황실을 24시간 가동하고, 전통시장·대형마트·여객시설 등 170곳의 안전 점검을 마쳤다.

성묘객 증가로 인한 산불 위험에 대비해 산림재해종합상황실을 운영하고, 산림청 등과 협력해 대응 체계를 강화한다.

명절 물가 안정을 위해 10월 9일까지 도내 22개 시군과 합동으로 물가 점검을 실시하고, 주요 성수품 21종과 생필품 가격·원산지 표시 등을 집중 관리한다.

또한 전통시장 이용 편의 제공, 온라인 쇼핑몰 ‘남도장터’ 최대 50% 할인 기획전, 착한가격업소 홍보 등 지역 소비 촉진 대책도 추진한다.

응급진료를 위해 도와 22개 시군 보건소를 비롯해 응급의료기관 45곳, 문 여는 병·의원 2,082곳, 약국 1,804곳이 운영된다.

병·의원과 약국 정보는 전남도청 누리집과 응급의료포털, 모바일 앱에서 확인할 수 있다.

교통 혼잡 완화를 위해 특별교통대책 상황실을 운영하고, 시내·농어촌 버스 증편과 운행 연장, 여객선 증편, 터미널 안전 점검을 강화한다.

Jeonnam Province Mobilizes All-Out Efforts for Safety and Livelihood During Chuseok Holiday11 Task Forces Deployed to Strengthen Price Stability, Emergency Medical Services, and Transportation Measures
Jeonnam Province announced that it will operate a “Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Situation Room” with 11 task forces (48 staff members per day) from October 3 to 9 to ensure that residents and returning visitors can enjoy a safe and comfortable holiday.
The province will operate its Disaster Response Center and the 119 Emergency Situation Room around the clock, while having completed safety inspections of 170 key facilities, including traditional markets, large supermarkets, passenger terminals, and cultural venues.
To address the increased risk of wildfires due to more visitors to gravesites and mountains, the province will operate a Forest Disaster Comprehensive Situation Room and strengthen wildfire response in cooperation with the Korea Forest Service and related agencies.
To stabilize holiday prices, Jeonnam will jointly conduct price inspections with 22 cities and counties in the province until October 9, focusing on 21 key holiday goods, daily necessities, and the proper labeling of product origins.
The province is also promoting regional consumption by improving convenience at traditional markets, offering up to 50% discounts on Chuseok gift sets through the online marketplace “Namdo Market,” and encouraging the use of affordable local restaurants as well as marketing products from social economy enterprises.
For emergency medical services, the province will operate an Emergency Medical Response System, including the provincial and local public health centers, 45 emergency medical institutions, 2,082 clinics, and 1,804 pharmacies that will remain open during the holiday period.
Information about available medical facilities and pharmacies can be found on the Jeonnam Provincial Government website, the National Emergency Medical Information Portal, and its mobile app.
To ease traffic congestion, Jeonnam will operate a Special Transportation Measures Situation Room, extend the operation of city and rural buses, increase ferry services for island-bound travelers, and strengthen safety inspections at passenger terminals.
Go Mi-kyung, Director-General of Jeonnam’s Provincial Administration Bureau, stated,
“We will operate dedicated task forces across all sectors to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and visitors during the Chuseok holiday and respond promptly to any emergencies.”
