전라남도는 2일 민족 최대 명절인 추석을 맞아 목포역·순천역·나주역에서 귀성객들을 대상으로 ‘고향사랑 실천 캠페인’을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 고향사랑기부제와 ‘전남 사랑애(愛) 서포터즈’ 활성화를 위해 마련됐다.

목포역에서는 전남도와 목포시가 함께 귀성객들을 환영하며 고향사랑 참여를 독려했다.

순천역과 나주역에서도 지역의 300여 종에 달하는 답례품을 홍보하고, 귀성객들에게 전남도 고향사랑기부제의 취지와 참여 방법을 알렸다.

특히 전남 사랑애 서포터즈 모집 활동도 활발히 전개됐다.

최근 회원 수 59만 명을 넘어선 서포터즈는 도내 810여 개 가맹점에서 다양한 할인 혜택을 제공하며 관심을 끌고 있다.

목포·완도·여수 등 지역 상권과 연계한 혜택에 귀성객들의 반응도 뜨거웠으며, 현장에서 가입을 신청하는 모습도 이어졌다.

강경문 전남도 고향사랑과장은 “추석을 맞아 고향을 찾은 출향인들과 직접 소통하고, 고향사랑기부제와 서포터즈를 널리 알릴 수 있는 뜻 깊은 자리였다.”며 “기부자들의 성원에 보답하기 위해 풍성한 답례품과 가치 있는 기금사업을 추진해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.

한편, 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 주소지를 제외한 지방자치단체에 연간 최대 2천만 원까지 기부할 수 있는 제도다.

기부금액의 30% 이내에서 답례품이 제공되며, 10만 원까지는 전액 세액공제, 초과분에 대해서는 16.5%의 세액공제 혜택이 주어진다.

기부금은 지역 주민 복리 증진에 활용된다.

JEONNAM, Korea – On October 2, in celebration of Chuseok, the nation’s largest traditional holiday, Jeollanam-do held a “Hometown Love Practice Campaign” at Mokpo, Suncheon, and Naju stations to engage returning residents and promote regional pride.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the Hometown Love Donation Program and to encourage participation in the ‘Jeonnam Love Supporters’ initiative.
At Mokpo Station, Jeonnam Province and Mokpo City welcomed travelers and encouraged them to take part in the hometown love campaign. At Suncheon and Naju stations, the campaign introduced over 300 types of local gifts and explained the purpose and participation methods of the donation program to visitors.
Recruitment for the Jeonnam Love Supporters was also actively carried out. With membership surpassing 590,000, the program now offers benefits at over 810 participating local businesses, attracting considerable interest from returning residents. Visitors showed strong enthusiasm for discounts and benefits in regions including Mokpo, Wando, and Yeosu, with many signing up on the spot.
Kang Kyung-moon, Director of Hometown Love at Jeollanam-do, said, “Chuseok provided a valuable opportunity to communicate directly with residents returning home and to raise awareness of the Hometown Love Donation Program and Supporters initiative. We will continue to reward donors with meaningful projects and generous gifts in appreciation of their support.”
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to contribute up to 20 million KRW annually to local governments other than their place of residence. Donors can receive gifts worth up to 30% of their contribution, and tax deductions are provided: 100% for donations up to 100,000 KRW, and 16.5% for the portion exceeding 100,000 KRW. Contributions are used to fund projects that enhance the welfare of local residents.
