전남 산업기계, 베트남·필리핀 시장 뚫었다! 760만 달러 수출 MOU 성과

전라남도는 지역 산업기계 중소기업의 해외 판로 개척을 위해 코트라 광주전남지원본부와 공동으로 추진한 ‘2025 산업기계 특화 베트남·필리핀 시장개척단’ 파견을 성공적으로 마쳤다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 시장개척단 활동을 통해 총 760만 달러 규모의 수출 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하며 실질적 성과를 거뒀다.

이번 시장개척단에는 산업재 분야 7개사와 소비재 분야 1개사 등 총 8개 기업이 참여했다.

전남도는 상담회 개최 한 달 전부터 현지 바이어와 최소 2회 이상 사전 매칭을 진행해 수출 가능성을 높였다.

그 결과 총 91건, 56억 달러 규모의 비즈니스 상담을 진행하며, 기술력과 제품 경쟁력을 인정받아 MOU 체결로 이어졌다.

베트남 하노이 상담회에서는 ㈜인송GE(가축분뇨 처리장치), ㈜한길산업(가드레일), ㈜에이치유원(도로교통시설물) 등이 수출 계약을 체결했다.

필리핀 마닐라 상담회에서는 봉강친환경영농조합법인이 유기질 비료 수출 업무협약을 진행했다.

이외에도 ㈜디엠티(신축이음관), ㈜에스에프시(계면활성제), 신영엔지니어링(수배전반), ㈜에스이투메터리얼(이차전지 양극재) 등 다양한 산업기계·소재 기업이 활발한 상담을 이어가며 해외 진출 가능성을 확인했다.

전남도는 베트남과 필리핀을 중장기 전략시장으로 지정하고, 지역 기업의 해외 진출 거점으로 육성할 계획이다.

특히 사전 시장조사, 바이어 매칭, 후속 계약 관리까지 이어지는 단계별 수출 지원 체계를 구축해 실질적 수출 성과로 연결시킨다는 전략이다.

신현곤 전남도 국제협력관은 “이번 시장개척단은 전남 산업기계 기업의 기술력이 해외 시장에서 실질적 성과로 이어질 수 있음을 입증했다.”며 “베트남과 필리핀을 시작으로 신흥국 시장을 지속 확대하고, 지역 기업이 수출 주도형 성장의 주역으로 자리매김하도록 전폭 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.

Jeonnam Industrial Machinery Breaks into Vietnam and Philippine Markets, Secures $7.6 Million Export MOUs

The Jeollanam-do Provincial Government announced on November 3 that it has successfully dispatched the “2025 Industrial Machinery-Focused Vietnam and Philippines Market Expansion Mission”, jointly organized with KOTRA Gwangju-Jeonnam Headquarters, achieving significant results in promoting overseas sales channels for local industrial machinery SMEs.
Through this mission, participating companies signed export Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) worth a total of $7.6 million, marking a tangible success.
The delegation included eight companies, seven in industrial goods and one in consumer goods. In preparation for the business meetings, Jeonnam Province conducted at least two pre-matching sessions with local buyers a month before the events to increase the likelihood of successful exports.
As a result, a total of 91 business consultations worth $5.6 billion were held, with companies’ technological capabilities and product competitiveness recognized, culminating in the signing of MOUs.
At the Hanoi, Vietnam meetings, the following agreements were signed: Insong GE Co., Ltd. (livestock waste treatment equipment), Hangil Industry Co., Ltd. (guardrails), and HU One Co., Ltd. (road traffic facilities). In Manila, Philippines, Bonggang Eco-Friendly Agricultural Cooperative signed an MOU to export organic fertilizers.
Other companies, including DMT Co., Ltd. (expansion joints), SFC Co., Ltd. (surfactants), Shinyeong Engineering (switchboards), and SE2 Materials Co., Ltd. (secondary battery cathode materials), conducted active consultations, confirming potential for market entry.
Considering market conditions, Jeonnam Province has designated Vietnam and the Philippines as long-term strategic markets and plans to cultivate them as bases for local companies’ overseas expansion. The province aims to create a step-by-step export support system, including preliminary market research, buyer matching, and follow-up contract management, to achieve tangible export results.
Shin Hyun-gon, Jeonnam Province’s Director of International Cooperation, stated, “This market expansion mission has proven that the technological capabilities of Jeonnam’s industrial machinery companies can translate into real outcomes in overseas markets. Starting with Vietnam and the Philippines, we will continue to expand into emerging markets and provide full support for local companies to become leaders in export-driven growth.”
