전라남도가 오는 18일까지 ‘2025 인구주택총조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 조사는 전남 지역 전체 가구의 약 24%에 해당하는 22만 3천 가구를 대상으로 진행된다.

인구주택총조사는 우리나라 인구·가구·주택의 규모와 구조를 종합적으로 파악하는 국가 단위 기초 통계조사로, 5년마다 전국적으로 시행된다.

수집된 정보는 ‘통계법 제33조’에 따라 철저히 비밀이 보호되며, 국가와 지역의 정책 수립에 중요한 기초자료로 활용된다.

조사는 사전 교육을 받은 조사원이 직접 가구를 방문해 태블릿과 종이조사표를 이용해 진행된다.

대상 가구는 안내문에 포함된 참여번호와 QR코드를 활용해 인터넷이나 전화로도 조사에 참여할 수 있다.

조대정 전남도 정책기획관은 “인구주택총조사는 효과적인 정책 수립을 위해 필수적인 기초자료를 제공하는 조사로, 도민 여러분의 적극적인 참여와 협조가 필요하다”고 당부했다.

한편, 전남도는 이번 조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 향후 지역 발전 전략과 복지, 교육, 주거 정책 등 다양한 분야의 계획 수립에 활용할 예정이다.

Jeonnam Province announced that it will conduct the 2025 Population and Housing Census until the 18th of this month.
The census targets 223,000 households, accounting for approximately 24% of all households in the region.
The Population and Housing Census is a national-level statistical survey conducted every five years to comprehensively assess the size and structure of the population, households, and housing in South Korea.
All information collected during the survey is strictly protected under Article 33 of the Statistics Act and will be used as a key reference for national and local policy-making.
Trained census officers will visit households directly, using tablets and paper forms to carry out the survey. Targeted households can also participate via the internet or telephone using the participation number and QR code included in the mailed notification.
Jo Dae-jung, Policy Planning Officer of Jeonnam Province, emphasized, “The Population and Housing Census provides essential baseline data for effective policy-making. We strongly encourage all residents to actively participate and cooperate.”
The provincial government plans to use the collected data to support the development of regional growth strategies, welfare, education, and housing policies, among other areas.
