친환경농산물 생산 유통 인프라 시설- 해남 인수영농조합법인 친환경 벼 가공시설

전라남도가 대한민국 친환경농업 중심지로서의 입지를 강화하기 위해 ‘2026년 친환경농산물 생산·유통 인프라 구축사업’을 본격 추진한다.

전남도는 이번 사업 대상자로 영광 너량나량유기테마파크영농조합법인, 해남 인수영농조합법인, 화순 해품쌀영농조합법인 등 3곳을 선정하고, 총 15억 원의 사업비를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

이 사업은 친환경 벼 10㏊ 이상(벼 이외 품목은 2㏊ 이상) 인증을 받은 생산자단체를 대상으로, 친환경농산물 전용 가공·저장·유통시설 및 장비를 지원해 생산성과 유통 효율을 높이기 위한 것이다.

전남도는 지난 5월부터 시·군의 추천을 받아 사업계획의 적정성, 생산·유통 계획 등을 서류와 현장평가로 검증했으며, 친환경농업 전문가 및 대학 교수 등이 참여한 심사를 통해 최종 지원 대상을 확정했다.

선정된 법인들은 지역 친환경농가와 협력해 생산뿐 아니라 가공·유통시설 확충 등 친환경농업의 선순환 구조를 강화함으로써 농가 소득 증대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

전남도는 2013년부터 올해까지 총 45개소(생산시설 8곳, 가공시설 28곳, 유통시설 8곳, 교육장 1곳)에 234억 원을 지원하며 친환경농산물의 유통·가공 기반을 지속적으로 확대해 왔다.

김영석 전남도 친환경농업과장은 “전남은 전국 친환경농업의 중심지로서 인프라 구축은 물론, 품목 다양화·저탄소 유기농업 확산·유기 가공식품 수출 확대 등을 추진하고 있다”며 “소비자가 선호하는 친환경 과수·채소 등 품목을 안정적으로 공급하고, 생산비 절감 정책도 함께 마련하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 2024년 말 기준 전남의 친환경농산물 인증 면적(유기농·무농약)은 전국의 50%, 유기농산물은 60%를 차지하며, 명실상부한 대한민국 친환경농업 1번지로 자리매김하고 있다.

Jeonnam Solidifies Its Status as Hub for Eco-Friendly Agriculture with KRW 1.5 Billion Investment in Production and Distribution Infrastructure
Three agricultural corporations in Yeonggwang, Haenam, and Hwasun selected… promoting organic farming and boosting farmers’ income
Jeonnam Province is stepping up efforts to reinforce its position as the center of eco-friendly agriculture in South Korea by launching the “2026 Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Production and Distribution Infrastructure Project.”
The province has selected three beneficiaries for this initiative: Yeoryang Naryang Organic Theme Park Agricultural Corporation in Yeonggwang, Insu Agricultural Corporation in Haenam, and Haepoom Rice Agricultural Corporation in Hwasun, and will provide a total of KRW 1.5 billion in project funding.
The project targets producer groups certified for eco-friendly rice cultivation of 10 hectares or more (2 hectares for non-rice crops) and provides dedicated processing, storage, and distribution facilities and equipment to enhance productivity and distribution efficiency.
Since May, Jeonnam Province has received recommendations from local governments, conducted document reviews and on-site inspections of proposed plans, and finalized beneficiaries through an expert evaluation panel comprising eco-friendly agriculture specialists and university professors.
The selected corporations are expected to collaborate with local eco-friendly farmers to expand production as well as processing and distribution facilities, strengthening the virtuous cycle of eco-friendly agriculture and significantly increasing farmers’ incomes.
Since 2013, Jeonnam Province has supported a total of 45 facilities (8 production facilities, 28 processing facilities, 8 distribution centers, and 1 education center) with KRW 23.4 billion, steadily expanding the foundation for eco-friendly agricultural product distribution and processing.
Kim Young-seok, Director of Jeonnam’s Eco-Friendly Agriculture Division, stated, “Jeonnam, as the nation’s hub for eco-friendly agriculture, is advancing infrastructure development, diversification of crops, low-carbon organic farming, and the expansion of organic processed food exports. We are also preparing support policies to reduce production costs and supply a variety of eco-friendly fruits and vegetables preferred by consumers.”
As of the end of 2024, Jeonnam accounted for 50% of the nation’s certified eco-friendly agricultural land (organic and pesticide-free) and 60% of organic agricultural products, firmly establishing itself as South Korea’s leading region for eco-friendly agriculture.
