전라남도가 2026년 농림축산식품부 농산물산지유통센터(APC) 지원 공모사업에서 장성 진원농협과 무안 영흥농산영농조합법인이 선정돼, 국비 10억 원을 포함한 총 33억 원의 사업비를 확보했다고 10일 밝혔다.

농산물산지유통센터 지원사업은 농산물 집하·선별·저장·출하 등 복합 기능을 갖춘 스마트 유통시설 구축을 지원하는 사업으로, 산지 농산물의 규격화, 상품화, 출하 시기 조절을 통해 유통 효율성과 농가 소득 향상을 목표로 한다.

장성 진원농협은 총 24억 원 규모의 사업비를 투입해 농산물 집하장, 선별장, 저온저장시설, 선별기 등 핵심 시설을 새로 구축한다.

이를 통해 딸기, 복숭아 등 지역 농산물의 유통 경쟁력 강화를 추진한다.

특히 진원농협은 지난 5월 화재로 APC 주요 시설 3동이 전소되는 피해를 입었으나, 이번 사업을 통해 조기 복구와 스마트 APC로 재도약이 가능할 전망이다.

무안 영흥농산영농조합법인은 총 9억 원을 투입해 기존 시설에 깐마늘 자동선별라인과 자동소포장기 등 스마트 장비를 도입한다.

이를 통해 농산물 처리 물량 확대와 품질 향상을 목표로 하고 있다.

박현식 전남도 농축산식품국장은 “이번 선정으로 전남 농산물 유통 기반이 한층 강화될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 산지 중심 스마트 유통 체계 구축을 위해 농협조직과 농업법인을 대상으로 지속적인 지원을 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

전남도는 향후 스마트 APC, 선별시설 구축 등 농산물 유통시설 현대화를 지속적으로 지원해 산지 유통 활성화와 농가 소득 증대를 적극적으로 도모할 계획이다.

Jeonnam Innovates Agricultural Distribution! Smart APCs in Jangseong and Muan Expected to Boost Farmers’ Income
Jeollanam-do announced on the 10th that Jangseong Jinwon Nonghyup and Muan Yeongheung Agricultural Cooperative Corporation have been selected for the 2026 Agricultural Products Distribution Center (APC) support program by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, securing a total project budget of 33 billion KRW, including 1 billion KRW in national funding.
The APC support program helps establish smart distribution facilities with integrated functions such as collection, sorting, storage, and shipment of agricultural products. It aims to improve distribution efficiency and increase farmers’ income through standardization, commercialization, and regulated shipping schedules of farm products at the production site.
Jangseong Jinwon Nonghyup will invest a total of 2.4 billion KRW to construct new core facilities, including collection centers, sorting centers, cold storage, and sorting machines. This initiative is expected to strengthen the distribution competitiveness of local products such as strawberries and peaches.
Notably, Jinwon Nonghyup suffered a fire in May that destroyed three main APC facilities, but this project will enable early recovery and a leap forward as a smart APC.
Muan Yeongheung Agricultural Cooperative Corporation will invest 900 million KRW to equip its existing facilities with automatic garlic sorting lines and automated small packaging machines, aiming to increase processing capacity and improve product quality.
Park Hyun-sik, Director of the Agriculture and Livestock Food Bureau of Jeonnam Province, said, “This selection will significantly strengthen the agricultural distribution infrastructure in Jeonnam. We will continue to actively support smart distribution systems centered on production sites for cooperatives and agricultural corporations.”
Jeonnam Province plans to continue supporting the modernization of agricultural distribution facilities, such as smart APCs and sorting centers, to revitalize production-site distribution and boost farmers’ income.
