전라남도는 11일 전남여성가족재단에서 ‘2025 전남여성정책포럼 의제발굴 콜로키움’을 개최해 지역 여성들이 제안한 생활밀착형 정책 의제를 공유하고 도민 체감형 정책 방향을 논의했다.
이날 행사에는 김은숙 전남여성정책포럼 상임대표, 포럼 회원, 여성단체 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석했으며, 4개 권역별 의제 발표와 청중 참여 토론을 통해 지역 현장의 의견을 적극 수렴했다.
발표된 주요 의제는
시골마을 스마트 버스정류장 확대,
생애주기별 맞춤형 정책 안내 앱 개발,
전남 광역단위 병원동행인 서비스 체계 구축,
전남형 시니어 학습복지 원스톱 플랫폼 도입
등으로, 실제 생활에서 도움 되는 정책으로 큰 공감을 이끌었다.
유미자 전남도 여성가족정책관은 “여성들이 현장에서 체감하는 문제를 직접 제안했다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다”며 “수렴된 의견이 도정 정책의 방향을 잡는 나침반이 되도록 적극 반영하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
한편, 전남여성정책포럼은 지역 여성 인재의 사회참여 확대를 위해 2019년 출범, 현재 22개 시·군 여성리더 132명으로 구성돼 있다.
지난해에는 12건의 의제를 제안해 4건이 도정에 반영되는 성과를 냈으며, 대표 정책은 여성 1인 가구 안심키트 지원, 출생기본수당 시행, 임산부 친환경 농산물 꾸러미 지원 등이다.

“Jeonnam Builds Policy with Women’s Voices”
Province Identifies Practical, Everyday Policy Agendas at Women’s Policy Forum
Jeollanam-do held the “2025 Jeonnam Women’s Policy Forum Agenda Discovery Colloquium” on the 11th at the Jeonnam Women & Family Foundation, where local women presented and shared practical, everyday policy proposals aimed at enhancing residents’ quality of life.
The event brought together approximately 100 participants, including Kim Eun-sook, Chair of the Jeonnam Women’s Policy Forum, forum members, and women’s organization representatives. The program included presentations of four regional agenda topics and an open floor discussion, encouraging active input from community voices.
Key policy proposals included:
Expansion of smart bus shelters in rural villages
Development of a customized, life-cycle policy information app
Establishment of a province-wide support system for medical companion services
Introduction of an integrated learning and welfare platform for senior citizens in Jeonnam
These proposals resonated strongly with attendees as they focused on practical improvements to everyday living.
Yoo Mi-ja, Director of Jeonnam’s Women and Family Policy Division, stated:
“It is highly meaningful that these policy suggestions stem directly from issues experienced by women in their daily lives. We will ensure these voices serve as a compass in shaping provincial policy.”
The Jeonnam Women’s Policy Forum was established in 2019 to cultivate female leadership and expand women's participation in society. The forum is comprised of 132 women leaders from 22 cities and counties across the province.
Last year, the forum proposed 12 policy agendas, with 4 being incorporated into provincial administration. Major achievements include:
Safe kit support for single-person female households
Implementation of a basic childbirth allowance
Distribution of eco-friendly agricultural product packages for pregnant women
