전라남도가 ‘제1회 고향사랑 기부대상’에서 전국 최다인 8개 지자체가 본상을 수상하며 고향사랑기부제 운영 분야의 선도 지역으로 자리매김했다.
전남도는 14일, 행정안전부·농림축산식품부·지방시대위원회 등이 후원한 이번 평가에서 전국 243개 지자체 중 34곳이 최종 선정됐으며, 이 가운데 전남이 가장 많은 수상 지자체를 배출했다고 밝혔다.
수상 지자체는 대상 완도군, 금상 담양군·영암군, 은상 전남도청·고흥군·곡성군·해남군, 특별상 진도군으로, 광역과 기초 전 분야에서 고르게 성과를 냈다.
고향사랑기부대상은 기부제 참여 활성화, 기금사업 운영, 지역특화 답례품 경쟁력 등을 종합 평가해 우수 지자체를 선정하는 행사로, 시상식은 지난 13일 서울 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)에서 열렸다.
고미경 전남도 자치행정국장은 “전남이 전국에서 가장 많은 본상 수상 지자체로 선정된 것은 도와 시군이 함께 기부제 활성화와 답례품 고도화에 지속적으로 힘써온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 참여 기반을 넓혀 전국적인 선도 모델을 만들겠다.”고 말했다.
전남도는 연말 기부 확산 분위기를 이어가기 위해 도·시군 합동 ‘고향사랑기부제 홍보의 날’을 운영하고, 수도권 등 기부수요가 높은 지역을 직접 찾아가는 현장 홍보도 강화할 계획이다.
또한 전남도는 ‘전남 사랑애 서포터즈’ 60만 명 돌파를 기념해 오는 30일까지 전남도 본청에 10만 원 이상 기부하고 답례품 후기를 작성한 선착순 1천 명에게 전남산 햅쌀 4kg을 추가 제공하는 감사 이벤트를 진행하고 있다.
한편 고향사랑기부제는 주소지를 제외한 지자체에 연간 2천만 원까지 기부할 수 있는 제도로, 기부자는 기부액의 30% 이내에서 답례품을 받을 수 있다.
10만 원까지 전액 세액 공제, 10만 원 초과분은 16.5%의 세액 공제가 적용된다.
기부는 고향사랑e음, 웰로, 액티부키, 주요 은행 앱, NH농협은행 창구 등을 통해 가능하다.

Jeonnam Leads Nation with 8 Awards in Hometown Love Donation Program
Jeollanam-do has solidified its position as a leading region in the operation of the Hometown Love Donation Program, earning the highest number of awards nationwide with eight municipalities recognized at the 1st Hometown Love Donation Awards.
The province announced on the 14th that, among the 34 municipalities selected from 243 nationwide, Jeonnam accounted for the largest number of awardees. The event was hosted with support from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development.
The award-winning jurisdictions include Wando County (Grand Prize); Damyang County and Yeongam County (Gold Prize); Jeonnam Provincial Government, Goheung County, Gokseong County, and Haenam County (Silver Prize); and Jindo County (Special Award), showing strong results across both provincial and county levels.
The Hometown Love Donation Awards evaluate excellence in program participation, fund operation, and the competitiveness of locally tailored reward items. The ceremony was held on the 13th at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
Goh Mi-gyeong, Director of the Jeonnam Provincial Autonomy Administration Bureau, stated,
“Jeonnam receiving the largest number of awards nationwide reflects the close collaboration between the province and its counties in activating donations and enhancing local reward products,” adding,
“We will continue expanding participation and establishing a national model for the program.”
To boost year-end donation momentum, Jeonnam Province plans to operate a joint “Hometown Love Donation Promotion Day” with its municipalities and strengthen on-site promotional campaigns in metropolitan areas where donation demand is high.
In addition, celebrating the milestone of surpassing 600,000 members of the “Jeonnam Love Supporters,” the province is running a special appreciation event. Through November 30, donors who contribute 100,000 KRW or more to the Jeonnam Provincial Government and submit a reward item review will receive an additional 4 kg of Jeonnam-grown rice, limited to the first 1,000 participants.
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million KRW per year to any local government other than their place of residence. Donors receive reward items worth up to 30% of their contribution. Donations up to 100,000 KRW are fully tax-deductible, while any amount exceeding 100,000 KRW is eligible for a 16.5% tax credit.
Donations can be made through platforms such as Hometown Love e-eum, Wello, ActiBooki, major banking apps (KB, IBK, Shinhan, Hana, NH Nonghyup), or in person at NH Nonghyup Bank branches.
