더불어민주당 해남군수 예비후보인 명현관 후보가 장애인의 날을 맞아 열린 기념행사에 참석해 장애인과 가족, 관계자들을 격려하며 포용적 지역사회 구축 의지를 공식화했다.

명 후보는 “현장의 목소리를 반영한 맞춤형 복지 정책을 통해 장애인의 실질적인 삶의 변화를 만들어가겠다”며 “형식적인 지원을 넘어 체감 가능한 정책으로 이어지도록 하겠다.”고 말했다.
이날 행사에서는 기념식과 문화공연, 유공자 표창 등이 진행되며 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어우러지는 화합의 장이 펼쳐졌다.

명 후보는 행사에 참석한 장애인과 가족, 자원봉사자들과 일일이 인사를 나누며 현장의 애로사항을 청취하는 등 적극적인 소통 행보를 이어갔다.

한편 명 후보는 “복지는 선언이 아니라 실행”이라며 “장애인과 어르신, 아동 등 모든 군민이 안심하고 살아갈 수 있는 촘촘한 복지 체계를 구축해 ‘군민이 먼저 행복한 해남’을 반드시 실현하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
