“하루 종일 현장 속으로”… 명현관, 민생·문화·전통 잇는 ‘전방위 행보’

더불어민주당 명현관 해남군수 예비후보가 민생과 문화, 전통을 아우르는 전방위 현장 행보에 나서며 ‘생활밀착형 정치’를 강조했다.

명 예비후보는 4월 18일 하루 동안 해남 전역을 순회하며 군민들과 직접 소통하는 강행군 일정을 소화했다. 이날 일정은 단순 방문을 넘어 민생·교육·체육·관광·전통문화까지 아우르는 종합적인 현장 점검 성격을 띠었다.

이날 오전 명 예비후보는 해남읍 농협 산악회 산행 출발 인사로 일정을 시작하며 군민들과 첫 만남을 가졌다. 이어 화산초등학교에서 열린 ‘화산면민의 날’ 행사에 참석해 지역 공동체의 결속과 화합의 중요성을 강조했다.

이후 해남자원순환복합센터에서 열린 ‘땅끝희망이 플리마켓’, 해남문화예술회관의 ‘책 교환 행사’와 어린이 뮤지컬 현장을 잇달아 방문하며 생활 속 문화와 교육의 가치 확산 필요성을 언급했다.
또한 옥천초등학교 동문 체육행사와 실버축구회 모임에 참석해 세대 간 균형 있는 정책 의지를 드러냈다. 이어 우수영 관광지 명량 역사 체험 현장과 황산 오일장을 방문해 지역 관광 활성화와 전통시장 경제 상황을 점검했다.

특히 이날 저녁 군민광장에서 열린 국악 음악회에 참석해 군민들과 함께 전통문화의 가치를 공유하며 ‘문화도시 해남’ 비전을 강조했다는 점에서 주목된다.

오후에는 군의원 후보 개소식에도 참석하며 지역 정치권과의 협력과 연대의 중요성을 언급하는 등 정치 행보 역시 병행했다.
명 예비후보는 “정치는 책상이 아니라 현장에서 완성된다.”며 “군민의 삶 속에서 답을 찾고, 현장에서 정책으로 연결하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

이어 “AI·농업·문화·에너지를 결합한 ‘ACE 전략’을 통해 해남을 대한민국 농어촌수도로 도약시키겠다.”고 강조했다.

Myung Hyun-gwan, preliminary candidate for Haenam County Governor from the Democratic Party of Korea, has embarked on a wide-ranging on-site campaign covering livelihoods, culture, and tradition, emphasizing “people-centered, grassroots politics.”
On April 18, Myung toured across Haenam throughout the day, engaging directly with residents in a tightly packed schedule. His itinerary went beyond simple visits, taking the form of a comprehensive field inspection spanning livelihoods, education, sports, tourism, and traditional culture.
In the morning, he began his schedule by greeting participants at the departure of a local agricultural cooperative hiking group in Haenam-eup, marking his first interaction with residents. He then attended the “Hwasan Township Residents’ Day” event held at Hwasan Elementary School, highlighting the importance of community unity and cohesion.
He continued his visits to the “Ttangkkeut Hope Flea Market” at the Haenam Resource Circulation Complex, a book exchange event and a children’s musical at the Haenam Culture and Arts Center, stressing the need to expand everyday access to culture and education.
He also attended an alumni sports event at Okcheon Elementary School and a senior soccer club gathering, demonstrating his commitment to balanced policies across generations. He further visited the Myeongnyang historical experience site at the Usuyeong tourist area and the Hwangsan traditional five-day market, where he reviewed local tourism development and the state of the traditional market economy.
In particular, he joined residents at a traditional Korean music concert held at the county square in the evening, sharing the value of traditional culture and emphasizing his vision for Haenam as a “cultural city.”
In the afternoon, he also attended the opening ceremony of a county council candidate’s campaign office, underscoring the importance of cooperation and solidarity within local politics.
Myung stated, “Politics is completed not at a desk but in the field,” adding, “I will find answers within the lives of residents and connect them to policies on the ground.”
He further emphasized, “Through the ‘ACE Strategy’—integrating AI, agriculture, culture, and energy—I will elevate Haenam into the leading rural capital of South Korea.”
